Everything for your planning

Here, you will find all relevant information about your perfect presentation at the motofestival.

For better visitor orientation and manageability, the halls will be divided into zones with different permissible construction heights. The maximum construction height is limited to three metres (blue) at the escalators and hall access area, to five metres (green) in the adjacent zone and to seven metres (red) in the outermost zones.

Big things are being built on the BERNEXPO site!

Construction work on the new festival hall on the BERNEXPO site has begun and is also in full swing during the trade fair. Only limited car parking spaces are available.

Below you will find all the information you need about deliveries, logistics and travelling during the construction phases of the new building. Please forward the information to your haulage contractors. Summary of the new building - information, delivery and logistics

Delivery and logistics

Arriving by public transport

You can reach the BERNEXPO site in just a few minutes by taking a tram, bus or S-Bahn (suburban train) from Bern central station:

  • Number 9 tram from Bern central station to the “Wankdorf Center” stop
  • S-Bahn (S1, S2, S3, S4, S31 or S44) to “Bern Wankdorf”, then number 9 tram to “Wankdorf Center”

The exhibition premises are a few hundred metres away from the Wankdorf motorway junction. After leaving the motorway, follow the “Expo” signs. Due to the construction work, we recommend parking in the multi-storey car park. The way from the multi-storey car park to the entrance is signposted at Messeplatz (please follow the signs). For the final few metres on foot, please follow the signs on site until you reach the entrance.
